The whole world should weep for Baby P

Everybody here in the UK has been sickened by a court case involving the death of a 17 month old baby at the hands of his mother, his stepfather and his uncle. From the age of just 3 months Peter was tortured by those that should love him the most. He was known to the Social Services, visited on many occassions and yet they didnt notice his bruises covered by chocolate, his missing fingertips (cut off with a stanley blade by his stepfather, his 8 broken ribs and perhaps most shockingly of all ~ when he was examined by a doctor just 4 days before his death she failed to notice that he was paralysed from the waist down because his stepfather had BROKEN HIS BACK !!
This case has upset me so much, the family lived just 5 minutes away from me, and I work for the local authority that failed him so abysmally.
Please keep Peter in your prayers, pray for justice for him.
On the 3rd December at 12.10pm uk time, please release a blue balloon in his memory.
Since the court hearings (sentencing is yet to be announced), I dont seem to be able to think of anything else except this poor defenseless boy. I cry every day and wish I could turn back time and save him from the hell he was living through.
My son had his 10th birthday last week and one of his presents was a mobile phone (cell phone). When I checked the photos he'd taken on it, I found one of Baby Peter taken from a photo in the newspaper. I asked my son why he had taken that photo and his reply made me cry but also made my heart swell with pride that he has grown into such a kind, compassionate young man. He told me "Mum, I want to keep him with me all the time, I dont want him ever to feel forgotten about again"

Please please please say a prayer for Peter and release a balloon on 3rd Dec @ 12.10pm..........its the least the world can do for him, because it did nothing for him while he was alive

Wow 2 Awards !!

Huge thanks to Seachell and Vaybs for these Kreative Blogger Awards. Im really touched that you take the time to pass these awards on to me, especially considering how many outstanding sites there are. I feel a bit of a fraud being given this award as all I do here is ramble on a bit and post the odd thing Ive played about with. It seems almost every blog I come across has scrapkits for sale ~ am I the only psp'er who doesnt make scrapkits ????LOL One day I may venture into it but at the moment it all looks a bit too involved for me to even consider...........unless someone out there wants to tell me the easy way hehehehehe Im all for the easy way lol

The rules are that I have to state seven things
that I love and then pass this onto seven more blogs.
So here we go, and in no particular order lol
1. My family
2. Chocolate
3. Watching my youngest son play his heart out for his football team
4. Cuddles from my 3 grandsons
5. Seeing all their faces light up on Christmas morning
6. Psp'ing
7. Still being here to tell the tale (see my stamp top right of this blog)

Now Im passing this award onto:
Bel Vidotti
Scraps with Attitude
Little Secrets Designz
Coquettas World
Heartfelt Perfections
Tranquil Kaos
Scrapz a Daisy

All amazingly talented bloggers - so make sure to check them out

Our Halloween Party

This year I decided not to take Jack, Tyler and Rion out trick or treating but to have a Halloween party for them instead.
I was suprised how cheap the decorations were - I found some fab ones for only £1 or £2 !!
I wanted it all to be a suprise for Jack, so John took him out while I decorated the living room and dining room.
I put up wall hangings of gravestones, skeletons, frankenstein and some really cool ones of creepy houses, windows and a fireplace - all with vampires on !!
I had some of that web floss stuff and draped across our large mirror and across the shelves and stuck plastic spiders in it.
Across the doorway of the living room I hung a banner with red handprints and KEEP OUT, with dripping blood. Pumpkin and skull lights completed the decs.
Food wise we had chilli pasta (worm pie lol), chicken popcorn (battered flesh lol) and potato wedges (witches fingers lol) I bought a jelly mould in the shape of a heart, with all the veins and ventricles showing (ewwww) so obviously that was red jelly. I bought skull goblets to drink their blackcurrant and apple juice from, but put a lable on the carton reading "Fresh Bats Blood"
Jack was amazed when he came home and I was so pleased I'd done it for him.
Then we started with the face paint !!! We had plastic skin and with the red paint on it looked like real gashes ! I put some on his earlobe and really looked as if his ear had been ripped open lol
When Ty and Rion arrived Jack quickly lay down on the sofa and I said to them "omg the partys cancelled, Jacks been attacked !" The boys and Claire rushed in to see him - poor little Rion really thought he had been ! lol

We played Pirates Treasure, they were blindfolded and we put creepy music on ......I told the blindfolded player they had been captured by pirates and they now had to walk the plank. We had a plank of wood on the floor on top of a rolled up rug so it wobbled as they walked along it LOL. At the end of the plank, I told them they could escape if they poked the pirate in the eye, and they had to poke their finger into half an orange (feels real, try it !)...they then had to dig for the treasure in the swamp (still blindfolded) This was a bowl of cold custard with grains of rice in it with various plastic creepy crawlies. It was absolutely hysterical to watch them lmao
Then they played Pin the Leg on the Skeleton, Chuck A Body Part and Musical Pumpkins.
Then we settled down to watch Beetlejuice, with their goodie bags full of disgusting looking sweets and plastic body parts lol

All in all, a brilliant time was had by all ~ the boys all said it was the best Halloween EVER !!

And to end the day, one of the dogs Clay decided to bring some authenticity to the party by ripping his claw off in the garden so there was blood all over the floor !!!
He's now lying beside me looking very sorry for himself, and his foot bandaged up so much that he looks like a duck when he walks LOL

Playing about with some fun word art for you

Help yourself, but please leave a comment ~ even a criticism if that's what you think of it lol. As they say, any attention is better than none.
I have posted these on a white background as I wasn't sure how they would look against the background here, but they are in .psp format when downloaded.
Enjoy xxx
